I believe most people want therapy to be a safe place where they can become their true self, where they can explore and bring forth their fears, desires, strengths, and weaknesses. I believe a good therapist is personable, warm, and supportive, and does not judge their client’s feelings, thoughts, or actions. Instead, through the therapist’s questions and observations, the client comes to know him or herself better and accept more of who they are.
